A former town centre Iceland store has been sold for half a million pounds. The high street building, which was home to the supermarket chain until July last year, has been sold for £566,000. Found in Sittingbourne town centre, it had gone up for sale with a guide price of £325,000 and was sold on Wednesday, March 20. Listed by auctioneers Clive Emson, the building is described as being close to both local and nationwide retailers and the mainline railway station.
