Nottingham Forest have just released a statement in the aftermath of a 2-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park. The Reds are teetering close to the edge. This game was decided by some fine margins but Forest do have to be better. Goals from Idrissa Gueye and Dwight McNeil gave Everton some daylight in their own quest to avoid being relegated from the Premier League. Forest never really got going throughout the clash and after a reasonably bright start, Everton started to gain a foothold. The first goal could perhaps have been saved by Matz Sels but in fairness, he did see the ball pretty late. …
