A traffic stop in Idaho ended with a police officer shot and the suspect later killed after a standoff. An Ada County Sheriff’s Deputy was shot by a driver Saturday night during a traffic stop in Boise. A citizen witnessed the shooting, called 911, and performed CPR, police said. The deputy was transported to St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise. His condition was not released. Boise Police found the suspect’s vehicle about a half hour later and tracked the driver to a home as they issued a Code Red notification to neighbors warning them about the incident and to stay indoors.
