The mediation committee of Germany’s Bundesrat and Bundestag reached a majority in favour of a growth package for businesses, but approval by the opposition Christian Democrats remains uncertain. The coalition government has promised to hold further talks with the agricultural sector on easing the burden, Bundesrat President Manuela Schwesig has said in Berlin.
