Ukraine exported more grain and oilseeds in April than in any month since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022, the British Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Wednesday. Exports of 6.6 million tons demonstrate Ukraine’s ability to export via its shipping corridors in the Black Sea, the MoD said in its daily update on X. Throughput of the Ukrainian Black Sea ports was also higher than at the time of the grain agreement.
