A Middlesex County man was sentenced to almost three years in prison for his role in a $2.1 million Paycheck Protection Program fraud scheme, U.S. Attorney Phillip R. Sellinger announced Wednesday. Arlen G. Encarnacion, 38, of Perth Amboy was sentenced to 33 months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering last October.
