Grimston Cricket Club Ladies welcomed North Runcton Rockets for their first-ever home league match, fresh on the heels of an opening day draw away to Bircham. Put in to bat, Grimston opened with the powerful combination of L Shepherdly and S White – with Shepherdly scoring a joint-top seven runs. Next in was captain C Nichols and the injured Crystal Pegg, called up as a last-minute replacement.
