The number of aftershocks recorded following the April 5 earthquake in New Jersey has risen to 120, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Twenty-seven were recorded over the past three days: eight Friday, 10 Saturday and nine Sunday, according to the USGS. The aftershocks follow a 4.8-magnitude earthquake in Hunterdon County on April 5. It was the strongest earthquake centered in New Jersey since 1938.
