A South Jersey correctional officer conspired with two other people, including an inmate, to smuggle drugs into the Atlantic County jail earlier this year, authorities said Tuesday. Police charged Christopher Piccioni, 33, of Swedesboro, with official misconduct, conspiracy to commit official misconduct, providing an inmate contraband and tampering with evidence, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said.
