The German government plans a declaration of intent concerning an Olympic bid, likely for the 2040 Games, sources have said. The declaration, also reported by public broadcasters ZDF, is to come on Wednesday, two days before the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics. The 2028 Games are in Los Angeles and the 2032 edition in Brisbane.
