A German holidaymaker has drowned during a boat trip off the Spanish island of Mallorca. The 58-year-old man from Zossen, south of Berlin, was in Mallorca with his wife to visit his brother, reported the Mallorca Zeitung newspaper. “He was suffering from a brain tumour and wanted to recover from all his operations,” the man’s brother told the newspaper. The German consulate in Palma confirmed the death on enquiry, the newspaper said.
