At least one person has been killed and several injured by shelling from Ukraine on the western Russian border regions of Belgorod and Kursk. A woman walking her dog was killed by a strike in Belgorod, and two other people were badly injured, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Telegram on Friday. Residential buildings and cars were also damaged, Gladkov said. The Russian Defence Ministry said eight missiles were intercepted. This information could not initially be independently confirmed.
