A driver was killed on Tuesday afternoon when his vehicle hit a tree in a wooded area along a Central Jersey highway. Police responded to the report of the crash at 3:02 p.m. on Route 518 between Kings Path and Aunt Molly Road in Hopewell. The car was found in a wooded area along the highway, the Hopewell Township Police said in a news release.
