A man is set to appear in court on suspicion of imitation firearm offences after armed police were spotted in a residential street. More than 10 officers and police dog teams were called to Sheldwich Close, Ashford, yesterday afternoon. Residents told KentOnline the road in Stanhope was blocked by police as neighbours were told to stay in their homes.
