A man was airlifted to hospital after suffering potentially life-changing injuries in a serious two-car crash. Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the A143 Melford Road, Sudbury, between the junctions with Abbey Road and Woodhall Road at about 3.20pm yesterday. The crash involved a white Hyundai i40 and a blue Kia Venga and both drivers, a man and a woman, suffered injuries. The woman was taken to West Suffolk Hospital where she remains for treatment.
