An emotional Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz stepped up to the podium at the Democratic National Convention and tried to hold back tears as his wife and two children sobbed in the audience. Walz’s wife, Gwen, his son, Gus, and daughter, Hope, cried as a video played just before the governor stepped out onto the stage on Wednesday night.
