The leader of Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council has announced that his cabinet will stay the same following this month’s elections. Paul Harvey (B&D Independents, Norden) has stated that the cabinet will “focus on delivering what residents have said is important to them”. Mr Harvey was elected as council leader for a four-year term in May 2023, and he confirmed at a council meeting on Thursday, May 16, that all cabinet members will continue in their roles.
