An orchestra is set to mark its 50th birthday with a glittering showcase of audience favourites. Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra will be holding it’s family prom, titled Glittering Gold, at Nottigham’s Royal Concert Hall. Starting from 6pm on Saturday, January 27, the orchestra will perform a medley of music from past family concerts — including soundtracks from Pirates of the Caribbean and The Lion King, Queen’s much-loved hit Bohemian Rhapsody.
