A new chief fire officer for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service has been announced this week. Matthew Warren, the service’s deputy chief executive since 2015, will officially take over the reigns from July 1 after the Peterborough and Cambridgeshire Fire Authority unanimously approved his appointment.
