Tesla is to cut 400 jobs at its only European plant near Berlin, the US carmaker said in a press release on Tuesday, following an announcement to cut 10% of its global workforce. In order to avoid compulsory redundancies, the company is planning a “voluntary programme” for employees. Talks will be held with the works council to implement this program, it said.
