A road has been closed and a man arrested following a serious crash. Police were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a lorry on the A251 Ashford Road near Faversham, shortly before 3.30am. Two female passengers who were travelling in the car have been taken to a London hospital with serious injuries. A 61-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and remains in custody. Officers remain at the scene and the road is closed in both directions between Badlesmere and Sheldwich.
