Thousands more people took to the streets of several German cities again on Monday evening to protest against right-wing extremism and the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party after mass demonstrations at the weekend. According to the police, around 5,000 people demonstrated in the western city of Paderborn under the slogan “Put the AfD on ice” against an AfD event that took place in the city centre that evening.
