Kuehne + Nagel International, a Swiss transport and logistics company, reported on Wednesday earnings before tax of 451 million Swiss francs ($520 million). The result is slightly lower than the 455 million francs in the same quarter a year ago, primarily due to increase in financial expenses. Net turnover for the quarter, however, grew more than 19% on increased demand. Financial expenses for the quarter rose to 12 million francs, from 7 million francs a year ago.
