Thames Water have joined the list of utility companies setting up temporary traffic signals in Bishop’s Stortford after they began three days of work in London Road. The utility repair and maintenance work near Aldi supermarket began at 1pm on Tuesday (Jan 23) and will end at 23.59 on Friday. Residents were already reporting traffic chaos around the area on Tuesday afternoon after the multi-way signals were put in place. Other companies that have carried out work in the town include Affinity Water, UK Power Networks and Cadent Gas.
