Traffic is being held on the Dartford Crossing due to a police incident. There are delays of 30 minutes at the QEII Bridge from Junction 31 of the M25 for Lakeside. Information from National Highways states: “The event is expected to clear between 8.15pm and 8.30pm. “There are currently delays of 30 minutes against expected traffic.” Cameras at the scene show long tailbacks heading into Kent. Reports suggest one tunnel is operating in each direction as traffic is diverted. Essex Police has been contacted for more information. More as we get it.
