A pub that closed after it suffered serious flooding during a fierce storm in November has reopened. The Three Horse Shoes in Spellbrook Lane East, Spellbrook was inundated after Storm Ciarán hit the South East overnight on November 1 and 2. A video on Facebook showed the pub’s interior under several inches of water and it was closed for refurbishment for almost nine months. After a six-figure upgrade to the 16th Century building producing a new-look inside and out, the pub opened its doors to the public on Monday (July 22).
