I get goosebumps and my stomach sinks when I stand at the entrance to the Wolf’s Lair, Nazi leader Adolf Hitler’s war headquarters. Here the Führer lived from 1940 to 1944, directing the Nazis in World War II and the Holocaust that led to the deaths of some 6 million European Jews.
