CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. \- A 73-year-old woman from Homosassa was killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night. The incident occurred around 8:41 PM on Poppy Street, east of Torenia Verbenas Court. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a Chevy Impala westbound on Poppy Street when, for unknown reasons, her vehicle left the roadway and collided with several trees.
