American Ben Shelton shrugged off losing the doubles on Sunday and went straight back out to beat Europe’s Daniil Medvedev and put Team World on the verge of winning the Laver Cup. Shelton, who has been the busiest of the players by far over the three days given his double prowess, defeated the Russian 6-7 (6-8), 7-5 (10-7) on a match tie-break. The World now lead 11-7.
