Key defender Jeff Chabot is leaving Cologne after the club’s relegation from the Bundesliga, amid reports linking him with a move to VfB Stuttgart. “It was an honour to wear this shirt and be on the pitch for you,” Chabot said on Instagram on Wednesday. “I will always keep this club in my heart even though I will be seeking new challenges.” Chabot arrived in Cologne in January 2022 and has a contract until 2026 which means that his new club will have to pay a transfer fee.
