It has been lovely to see the beach back in Newark Market Place over the last couple of weeks. Whoever thought of that idea deserves a raise. It is wonderful to see families coming into the town centre and having such a good time. Hopefully, it will return next year — only for longer. There seems to have been a real effort over the last couple of years to make better use of Newark’s Market Place to bring people into the town — and that should be applauded.
