Title holders Italy have announced a 30-strong provisional squad for Euro 2024 which includes Francesco Acerbi who missed the last matches in March over racism allegations. Acerbi from Serie A champions Inter Milan left the squad ahead of March friendlies after being accused by Napoli player Juan Jesus of racial abuse during a match. Acerbi was later cleared by a sports court due to lack of evidence, and now returns into the Euro squad announced on Thursday by coach Luciano Spalletti.
