Farran Wilkins and her partner Robert West. from Gravesend, were expecting their first baby together but lost their unborn child at 25 weeks due to the virus. Farran’s daughter from a previous relationship, Maple, came home from nursery with fever, red cheeks, a runny nose and a rash, when the mum was 17 weeks pregnant in April.
