Polish farmers plan to block a key motorway running across the German border from Sunday as part of a protest against EU agricultural policy. The protest would start at the Swiecko junction on Sunday at around 1 pm (1200 GMT), a spokeswoman for the motorway operator told dpa on Friday. All lanes in both directions will be affected until the official end of the action on March 20, the municipality of Slubice announced on its website.
