A team of consultants is to be paid more than £3m to lead a review expected to axe 400 Hertfordshire County Council workers. As part of the “organisational resourcing” review the team – from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) – is set to look at staffing and processes, as well as the use of technology. The experts will be looking to identify duplication of work, to highlight gaps and to look for efficiencies of processes and technologies.
