The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI) has ordered additional units of the Sectra Tiger mobile encryption system from Sectra, an international IT company specializing in cybersecurity and medical imaging. NCI has also extended its support contract with Sectra for another five years.
“NATO has been using Sectra’s secure communications solutions for many years, and we have been working with the Alliance for over 20 years. We are honored to continue to be trusted to ensure the secure exchange of classified information. It is very important for our customers to maintain their digital sovereignty, and this order confirms that our Sectra Tiger solution meets the highest security requirements,” says Jeroen de Muijnck, Managing Director of Sectra Communications BV.
Sectra Tiger is a quantum-resilient secure communications solution used by a large number of user organizations in many NATO and EU countries.
“We look forward to further developing this cooperation and continuing to support the organization with products that protect classified information, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of digital collaboration among NATO officials,” adds Jeroen de Muijnck.
The order for the Sectra Tiger units and the extension of the support contract were signed in the fourth quarter of Sectra’s fiscal year 2023/2024.
