Top EU diplomat Josep Borrell announced on Monday a boycott of next month’s informal meeting of European Union foreign ministers in Budapest. “We have to send a signal, even if it’s a symbolic signal,” he said in a press conference after a meeting of EU foreign ministers. The informal meeting, called a Gymnich, will take place in Brussels instead.
