According to a recent report from Digital Chat Station (DCS), OnePlus will focus on improving performance, battery life, and camera in its next flagship.

DCS speculates that OnePlus 13 could be one of the first smartphones to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. While the Xiaomi 15 series is expected to be the very first to debut with this new SoC, the OnePlus 13 could follow shortly after.

The OnePlus 13 will feature a new single-point ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and improved silicon anode battery technology. DCS suggests that the battery has a “huge capacity”, so we can expect it to be bigger than the OnePlus 12.

The leak also suggests that the phone will retain a large display, possibly a 6.8-inch 2K LTPO OLED panel with a slight curve.

The camera system is also expected to receive an upgrade. Although there are no specifics, DCS mentions a triple camera with an improved periscope lens.

In addition, in response to a user’s comment about the phone’s IP68 protection, the expert noted that, although it was not confirmed, water resistance tests “were conducted.”

Aside from the OnePlus 13, there are rumors that OnePlus may launch another flagship phone, the Ace 3 Pro, in the Chinese market this year. According to rumors, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and will compete with rivals such as the Realme GT 6 and the upcoming Redmi K70 Ultra.

As the official launch is likely to take place in a few months, more details about the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus Ace 3 Pro are sure to come in the coming weeks.
