French farmers in dozens of tractors blocked traffic in Paris on Friday ahead of a big agricultural fair on the weekend, despite extensive aid promises from the government. The farmers slowly drove the tractors towards the city centre on the city motorway, where two rallies were planned that had been approved by the authorities.
