Although it’s not yet gone hugely viral, there’s a meme of Benito Mussolini harvesting grain in the 1930s as a historical example of Donald Trump’s modern “common man” (or should I say “woman”) propaganda at a closed McDonald’s. The Mussolini photo is often paired with one of Trump. The act is historically accurate. Today’s image of Mussolini is probably not real based on contemporaneous imagery.
