According to reports out of the South American country, Argentina’s U23 manager Javier Mascherano is urging the World Cup winner to consider joining the squad should they qualify for the Olympics. “I have been asked about it and of course, Leo has the doors open to the national team to do what he wants,” Mascherano told EFE in October. “I am very good friends with him and I would love it.
