Jack Flaherty and Yoshinobu Yamamoto will start Games 1 and 2 for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the New York Yankees in the World Series beginning Friday, manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday. Yamamoto is set to become the third pitcher from Japan to start a World Series game, following Daisuke Matsuzaka for the 2007 Boston Red Sox and Yu Darvish for the 2017 Dodgers.
