G20 foreign ministers called for comprehensive reforms of the most important international organizations as they met in Rio de Janeiro, while war continues to rage in several parts of the world. “Everyone agreed that the most important multilateral institutions such as the UN, the World Trade Organization, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund must be reformed in order to meet the challenges of today’s world,” said Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira on Thursday at the end of the meeting.
