Specifications and features of the HP EliteBook Ultra G1q:

This laptop comes in an “atmospheric blue” color, is 14.22 mm thick and weighs just 1.349 kg. It features a 14-inch 2.2K (2240 x 1400) IPS touchscreen with anti-glare coating. It has a brightness of up to 300 nits, 100% sRGB, and Low Blue Light certification. It is paired with a full-size backlit HP Imagepad keyboard that matches the color of the laptop.



Like the OmniBook X, this laptop is also powered by the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 chipset. It features 12 cores of Qualcomm Oryon processor with clock speeds up to 3.4 GHz, Adreno GPU (3.8 TFLOPS), and Qualcomm’s Hexagon GPU, which powers artificial intelligence functions. The advantage of an energy-efficient chipset is that it allows manufacturers to offer lightweight machines with a less aggressive heat dissipation system.

With its AI capabilities, this laptop reportedly offers background blurring and a virtual background feature for video calls. It also offers temporary noise reduction during calls.

It is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X-8400MHz RAM and a 512GB or 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe TLC M.2 SSD with PCIe Gen 4 NVMe TLC interface.

There are four stereo speakers and two microphones with Poly Studio support. There is a 5 megapixel webcam for video calls.

It has a 59 Wh battery and comes with a 65 Wh Type-C fast charger.

For wired connections, it offers the following ports:

  • 1 x USB Type-C (40 Gbps)
  • 1 x USB Type-C (10 Gbps)
  • 1 x USB Type-A 3.2 Gen1
  • 3.5mm audio port (two-in-one headphone microphone)

Prices and availability:

The 512GB version of the EliteBook Ultra G1q is currently available for pre-order on the company’s website for $1699 (equivalent to 12,300 yuan).
