A gang of thieves stole a cash machine in a ram-raid on the Nationwide Building Society in Sawbridgeworth overnight. The branch in Knight Street was hit at about 5.30am Tuesday (April 23). Bell Street and Knight Street are shut as a result. A nearby resident posted on a Facebook group: “This is the building I live in.
