More than 800 young athletes took part in a triathlon event and raised an amazing £85,000 for charity. The Knight Frank Schools Triathlon was hosted by Sevenoaks School and involved 816 entrants who came from 20 different schools and who, between them, ran, swam and cycled a distance equivalent to a journey to Barcelona. The Mayor of Sevenoaks, Cllr Claire Shea, attended to cheer on the boys and girls, who were all of primary school age, and the World Paralympic Champion cyclist Katie-George Dunlevy, who suffers from visual impairment, was the special guest at the event.
