A Bishop’s Stortford company boss fears a set of road works outside his business is there for the long term – despite plans for them to finish on Friday (April 26). The work by Cadent Gas sprung up in South Street outside Ducketts Wharf last week with two-way temporary traffic lights directing traffic through them. The entrance of Ducketts Wharf is in the middle of the barriered work and although vehicles can get in and out they have to wait for a gap in traffic.
