A SEX offender has been convicted of a new fraud offence. Richard Sears, formerly known as Nick Laloo, appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 22. In 1996 Mr Sears was jailed for 12 years for a double rape. He also has more than 40 previous convictions for offences including indecent assault, harassment and fraud and is currently subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
