A MAN accused of breaching a restraining order and carrying a knife has been sent to the crown court in custody. Darren Brown appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, May 25. The 44-year-old, of Northway, Newbury, faces charges of harassing Karen Finn last month, May, in breach of a restraining order. In addition, Mr Brown is accused of having a bread knife in public without lawful excuse in Silver Street, Reading, on Friday, May 24.
