A kind-hearted mum dedicated to nursing sick hedgehogs has become overwhelmed with more than a hundred in her garden. When Lisa Steward, from Pluckley, near Ashford, discovered an injured hedgehog in her backyard four years ago it set off an unprecedented chain of events. Now, the mother-of-three works around the clock to care for scores of the animals abandoned by their families or hurt in gardening accidents.
